Gulkand Lassi | Holi Special

Hello, my beautiful people!! 😍
Do you know Gulkand originates from the Persian word where Gul means Rose and Khand means Sugar. Gulkand is very popular in South Asia. It is a sweet preserve of Rose Petals thus also known as Rose Petal Jam. For this festival apart from the regular Holi Favorites like Thandai, we can also make another yummy drink, made with two main ingredients; Yogurt and Gulkand.
We have shared some yogurt drinks previously like Mango Lassi, Rossie Lassi or Cardamom Elaichi Lassi. Today's one I named as Gulkand Lassi or Rose Petal Yogurt Drink. It is very easy to make and will add colors to your day this Holi. Let's see the step by step process on how to make this coolant drink. Gulkand Lassi!

Rosie Lassi

Hello my beautiful people😘
Many people are requesting for another option in cold beverages as they don't like Thandai. So I decided to make one more recipe for cold beverages. This drink is perfect in hot summer days; very filling, very delicious and the best part is it will take only 5 minutes to make.
In today's post, I am sharing one of my favorite recipes which I always make for my Papa! My father loves Lassi. 90% of the time making Lassi was my job. Usually, we prepared Cardamom Lassi which is very thick in-consistency & white in color. I personally don't like plain Lassi, so one day I did one experiment. I and my father loved that experiment & I gave it the name Rosie Lassi. The best part is it doesn't contain any Roses!πŸ˜‚ In my hometown, Roohafza Milk is a pretty famous drink. I don't like milk at all so I decided to make it with Curd; that is how I came up with Rosie Lassi.🌹
Without further delay let's see how to make it! I am very sure that you guys will love this too!!

Thandai Recipe

Hello my beautiful people!!!
Thandai is a refreshing drink made with Milk, Almonds, Rose Petals & hint of spicy taste. It works as a coolant making it very good specially on hot days. It's very popular drink for festivals like Shivratri & Holi, however you can make it any day.

In last post we shared how to make Thandai Masala at home. As Thandai Masala can be stored easily for 3-4 months this makes it easy to prepare quick Thandai. In this post we are making a complete Thandai Recipe. If you already have Masala then this will take only 5 mins to make.
I recommend to make this in advance so that flavors get time to infuse properly. It will taste exactly the same as readymade Thandai. I hope your family & guests gets impress with your yummy Thandai.
Let make this delicious Thandai without further delay!
