A Perfect Post-Sun or Anytime Calming Treat for the Skin

All You Need -

  • 1 tbsp Curd (Plain Yogurt)

  • 1 tsp Aloe Vera Gel (fresh or store-bought)

  • A pinch of Turmeric

How To Make -

Step 1. In a clean bowl, take 1 tablespoon of curd.
Step 2. Add 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel to the curd.
Step 3. Add a small pinch of turmeric and mix everything well until you get a smooth paste.
Your calming face pack is ready!

How To Use -

Step 1. Wash your face with cool or lukewarm water and pat it dry with a soft towel.
Step 2. Using clean fingers or a brush, apply the face pack evenly on your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
Step 3. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 4. Once it dries slightly, rinse it off gently with normal water and pat your skin dry.
Step 5. Follow up with your favourite toner and moisturizer for best results.

Benefits of This Calming Face Pack -

  1. Curd is rich in lactic acid; it gently exfoliates, cools the skin, and reduces redness.

  2. Aloe Vera is well known for its soothing, healing, and hydrating properties.

  3. Turmeric has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help calm irritated skin.

  4. This pack helps relieve sun damage and brings back the skin’s natural softness.

  5. It adds a soft glow to the face and keeps the skin feeling nourished.

 Things To Remember -

  1. If you are using fresh aloe vera gel, make sure to patch test it first, as it can be strong for sensitive skin.

  2. Do not go overboard with Turmeric; just a pinch is enough, otherwise it can stain your skin temporarily.

  3. Always do a Patch Test before trying any new DIY.

  4. This pack is gentle and can be used 2–3 times a week for best results.

So the next time your skin feels tired, irritated, or just needs a little pampering, try this simple DIY face pack. It’s soothing, natural, and your skin will thank you for the love! 💕
