Hello People!!
"Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances." - Mahatma Gandhi
With this deep thought, I would like to start today's post on Finding Inner Peace. Inner Peace can have different meanings for each person. For me, Inner Peace is the state of mind where you feel relaxed & happy from within despite having struggles in your life. If you are finding your life always filled with stress or if you find that in spite all your efforts something is draining your positive energy then you are not in a state of inner peace.
Today I wanted to share some of the methods for achieving inner peace. Inner peace is one of the wonderful gifts which you can give it to yourself. No matter how your life is busy & stressful this peace can get you out of all the tensions.
First Category is whether this question is related to my life and will it help in making the life more peaceful. Is it really important to be answered? Rest all questions goes to the second category. You can maintain a diary and check this every night before going to bed. Think for sometime peacefully whether the first category questions still need to be answered or not. If you follow this practice for a few days you will realize that most of the questions are not useful for you and they were just bothering you.
Remember our mind gets bombarded with so many things throughout the day and it adversely affects the inner peace of life.
"Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is Mystery but Today is the Gift of God that is why it is called as Present"
One of the main reasons we are away from inner peace is because of the lack of focus on the right things in life. Many of us still have some bad memories from the past which roams around in our mind every day and we feel bad even today thinking about that. Many people get anxious about thinking what will happen in the future; whether it is tomorrow, one year later or sometimes 10 years later. The truth is our mind is controlled by emotions. It is our responsibility to focus on the right things, to focus on what really matters and most importantly to focus on Present, because Present is the only truth.
Some people say I do exercise, I focus on the right things, I am always in the present yet I feel sad always and I don't have the peace within. After a study was done on the people, it was found that their eating habits were not good. It is believed in Ayurveda that we should eat according to our body type. Eating organic, healthy fruits & vegetables in the right quantity gives our mind the required nutrition. Don't overeat but don't undereat too.
A student went to his meditation teacher and said, “My meditation is horrible! I feel so distracted, or my legs ache, or I’m constantly falling asleep. It’s just horrible!”
“IT WILL PASS,” the teacher said matter-of-factly.
A week later, the student came back to his teacher. “My meditation is wonderful! I feel so aware, so peaceful, so alive! It’s just wonderful!’
“IT WILL PASS,” the teacher replied matter-of-factly.
This story tells one of the important things in life, Change is the only constant thing in life. Sun will come every day but it will go away in the night too. Good or Bad nothing will remain forever, things will change. If you are feeling, that life is not good for you, start taking responsibility for life. Start thinking on small things which can make big changes in your life. If you are not feeling comfortable in the office and you are doing just for the sake, think for another job where you can love the job.
I hope you have liked this post. I have listed a few of the things which can bring you inner peace but in the end, you have to be aware of your life. Life is beautiful and it is given to us to live. Be happy and do good to others. Help people in need. Spread happiness across. There are so many ways to find happiness and inner peace in life. I wish you all the best for you to take charge of your life.

Today I wanted to share some of the methods for achieving inner peace. Inner peace is one of the wonderful gifts which you can give it to yourself. No matter how your life is busy & stressful this peace can get you out of all the tensions.
Ways To Find Inner Peace
1. Stop Questioning YourSelf
Have you noticed how you have always surrounded by so many questions in your mind? The first step towards finding Inner Peace is to realize that not every question needs to be answered. For initial few days be aware of what questions are coming out in your mind and start dividing into two categories.First Category is whether this question is related to my life and will it help in making the life more peaceful.
2. Focus On Right Things
I want to mention one of my favorite quotes,"Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is Mystery but Today is the Gift of God that is why it is called as Present"
3. Eat Right
"We are what we Eat".Some people say I do exercise, I focus on the right things, I am always in the present yet I feel sad always and I don't have the peace within. After a study was done on the people, it was found that their eating habits were not good. It is believed in Ayurveda that we should eat according to our body type. Eating organic, healthy fruits & vegetables in the right quantity gives our mind the required nutrition. Don't overeat but don't undereat too.
4. Attach YourSelf With At least One Relaxation
Some people like Gym, some like Yoga, some like meditation, some painting etc. It doesn't matter what form of relaxation you like but our mind needs time to be relaxed. Engage yourself daily which at least one thing which you like. If you are having a busy lifestyle, start with 5 minutes. Slowly you can increase this time. It is important to choose the activity you love not just for the sake of doing.5. Slow Down a Little
Check your everyday routine. Think when the last time you spend 5 minutes not thinking any thought. You might be a mom and a housewife who is continuously thinking what to prepare for tiffin or when to clean the home etc. You might be the husband who is spending time even at home thinking about tomorrow's work. Whatsoever your role n the life, you have to slow down if required. Spend time when you are not doing anything also. Do not take too many responsibilities if you are not ready to take those. Delegate a few things to others if required. Slowing Down a little gives time to mind to find inner peace.
6. Take Responsibility Of Life
Human Life is a gift of God. Maybe you are feeling that your life is not good now, you are stuck in this lie and nothing will change, situations are very bad etc. First thing this shall too pass. I want to mention one story from Zen,A student went to his meditation teacher and said, “My meditation is horrible!
