Pav Bhaji


A recipe originated in Mumbai ( India ) but loved by all. It is a quick meal for people who are in a hurry in the street.
Yes it is Pav Bhaji, a fast, super yummy & a dish packed with lots of vegetables. The best thing is you can choose your own veggies.

Here I present Pav Bhaji for a real quick snack.




Ingredients :-



  • 4 tsp Oil
  • 5 big Mashed Boiled Potatoes
  • 2 Chopped Capsicums
  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 4 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 5 Curry Leaves / Meetha Neem
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds / Rai
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi / Turmeric
  • 2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pav
  • Butter




Method :-


For Bhaji :-


Step 1.  Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard Seeds , Curry Leaves & Green chillies. Cook it for a minute.
Step 2.  Add Chopped Onions & Capsicums. After 1 minute add tomatoes. Cook it for 3-4 minutes & add all the spices except salt. Cook for another 2-3 min.
Step 3.  Now add mashed potatoes. Add water for desired consistency. Cook it for 5-6 min.
Step 4. Squeeze lemon juice & Salt to your bhaji and cook for 2-3 more min to finish it.

For Pav :-


Step 1.  Slice Pav into two horizontals. Apply little butter on each side.
Step 2.  Heat Pan and cook Pav until it turns slightly brown on each side.

Serve Hot Pav Bhaji .Garnish with chopped onions, lemon & chilli.

Your delicious Pav Bhaji is ready.
