Aloo Raita [ Potato Raita ] recipe with step by step instructions -

Potato is not only a delicious food item but it is also loaded with lots of healthy nutrients. With a high content of fiber, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B, potato is a healthy food option. It is a key ingredient in many of the Indian Recipes and especially the recipes for Fast. Today I am sharing a super quick and tasty recipe that you can eat during your Vrat (Fasting) days. We are making Aloo Raita or Potato Raita. Let's see what ingredients we need here!


Aloo Raita Recipe | Vrat Special 

Ingredients -

  • 1 1/2 cup of Curd
  • 1 big Boiled Potato (Chopped in small cubes)
  • 1 chopped Green Chili
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • Salt to taste


Method -

Step 1. Take Curd in a bowl and whisk it to get a smooth consistency.
Step 2. Add Potato, Green Chili, Cumin Seeds, Red Chili Powder and Salt.
Step 3. Give it a good mix.
Your delicious Aloo Raita is ready.

You can either prepare this with Sabudana Khichdi or with Puri Sabzi. I am using here Roasted Cumin Seeds if you want you can use Tadka too. Please Add and Subtract Spices according to your taste.
