Hello, my beautiful people!
Happy Valentine's Day in advance. Valentine's Day is almost here and it is another time of the year when we can decorate our home, that too with beautiful Hearts. We have shared many DIYs for Valentine on our websites like DIY Hanging Hearts for Ceiling, DIY Heart Mesh For Door Decoration and DIY Heart Garland. Hanging Heart for Door Knobs | DIY
All You Need -
- Cardboard
- Woolen Yarn Thread
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Cutter
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scale
Making Process -
Step 1. Draw a heart on the cardboard with a length of around 12 cm. Draw another heart within this heart of around 6 cm length.Note - You can also draw hearts using a stencil if you do not want to do a freehand drawing.
Step 2. Using a cutter, cut both the pencil drawing. This will give you a heart-shaped figure.
Step 3. Start from any end. I like to start in the middle of the heart. Apply little hot glue. On top of this start wrapping the Woolen thread.
Step 4. Keep wrapping and secure in between with the glue, until the Woolen thread covers the whole heart.
Step 5. Again secure the end of the Woolen thread with the help of hot glue gun.
Step 6. Cut a thread of around 30 cm. Stick both of its ends to the heart. This will help to hang our hearts.
Step 5. Again secure the end of the Woolen thread with the help of hot glue gun.
Step 6. Cut a thread of around 30 cm. Stick both of its ends to the heart. This will help to hang our hearts.
Your beautiful Hanging Heart is ready. Decorate your Door Knobs with these Hanging Hearts.
Note - I have used the Ombre Color Thread
. You can use plain red, pink or white. Although if you can find Ombre it will look better.
