Hello, my beautiful people!! 😍
How do you store your stationery items especially Pencils and Pens? I use Pouch or Pencil Box. In Khushi's World, we try to make things at home instead of buying out. Today also we will make our own pouch.
How do you store your stationery items especially Pencils and Pens? I use Pouch or Pencil Box. In Khushi's World, we try to make things at home instead of buying out. Today also we will make our own pouch.
For making our own pouch we usually need the zip. But I really want to ditch this thought for today's post. I am making a Pencil/Pen storage using Felt & the good thing is that you don't need any button or zip to secure the pouch.
DIY Felt Cutout Pencil/Pen Pouch
- Rectangular Felt
- Ribbon or Lace
- Scissors
- Thread
- Needle
- Scale (Optional)
Making Process:-
Step 1. Take a Felt & cut into Rectangular size. My felt is already rectangular that's why I don't require this step.
Step 2. Place the Felt horizontally and fold it in half.
Step 3. Start cutting slits in between felt (folded felt). Leave 1-inch space in every cut & make 5-6 slits. (If you want you can measure slit's space with the help of scale)
Step 4. Now unfold the Felt. You should see a Felt with so many horizontal slits.
Step 5. This step is optional!! With the help of Thread & Needle attach Ribbon on one side of the Felt. To attach first fold a little from one end of the ribbon and
then using needle & thread sew it with the Felt.
Step 6. Place one by one pencil in the slits you created and tie the felt back using the ribbon to close it.
Your Felt Cutout Pencil Pouch is ready!!
