Amrakhand (Mango Shrikhand)

Hello, my beautiful people :)
Shrikhand is one of the famous Indian desserts with Curd as the main ingredient. You can get it in many flavors. Elaichi( Cardomom) & Kesar (Saffron) are most commonly eaten flavors of Shrikhand however as Mango Madness is going on we are going to make it in Mango Flavor. It is also known as Amrakhand or Mango Shrikhand and also a very popular recipe of Maharashtra India. Extreme easy to make!
Let's see how to make it!! :)


Ingredients :-

  • 1 cup Mango Pulp
  • 1 cup Hung Curd
  • 4 tbsp Maple Syrup (you can even use Powdered Sugar)
  • Pinch of Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped Pistachios



Step 1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients together.
Step 2. Mix this mixture properly as we don't need any lumps.
Step 3. I like to pass this mixture through a Sieve to get rid of the lumps. This will give you a smooth mixture.
Step 4. Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours to cool down.
Your delicious Amrakhand is ready!! Garnish it with Pistachios and served chilled!!

Note:- I want to make this little healthy that's why I am using Maple Syrup. If you want you can use your regular powdered sugar but make sure you know how sweet your Mango Pulp is.
