How Coronavirus Shook the World? | Coronavirus 101

Hello People!!
Coronavirus or COVID-19 not a new name now for all of us. WHO has declared coronavirus as a global pandemic. As of 15 March 2020, 137 countries have already reported cases of coronavirus.
This is the time not to panic but to be safe. Not to hate each other but to help one another. As a blogger, I also want to take up this responsibility and do my part. Sharing Coronavirus 101, meaning all the information and important questions that can be read quickly and shared amongst others too.

How It All Started -

It all started when China started getting cases in late December 2019 of people getting sick with pneumonia-like symptoms. Wuhan, a city of 11 million people in China, is all where all the cases were from. When researched on what was common amongst those 44 cases, 27 people said they went to the same wet animal market. Wuhan has a wet animal market where wild animals, including birds, rabbits, bats, snakes are many others are traded. Later the virus was identified as coronavirus and it is believed that it came from the bats in the market to humans.

Symptoms of Coronavirus ( After 2-14 Days of Exposure ) -

  • Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
  • Cough
  • Shortness of Breath

Emergency Symptoms -

  • Difficulty Breathing Or Shortness Of Breath
  • Persistent Pain Or Pressure in the Chest
  • Bluish Lips Or Face

How It Spreads -

  • It can be spread through contact from person to person within 6 feet of distance.
  • Respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

Do I need to Wear Face Mask?

This is often a question where many people have doubts? Do I need to wear Face Mask? With face masks already in scarcity in the shops, the answer is -
YES - If you are sick, you should wear a face mask whenever you are in a public place or anyone's else place.
NO - It is better if you are no sick and face mask is already less in the market, have someone who needs it to buy it first.


Who Are At Risk -

This virus doesn't do any discriminations. Any human can catch this virus. However elderly people and people who have respiratory diseases have a more deadly impact because of COVID-19.

How To Protect Yourself -

  • Clean Your Hands Often - Wash your hands at least 20 seconds including the fingertips.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Sanitize your hands regularly.
  • Stay Healthy - Eat good home-cooked food, exercise for 30 minutes.
  • Avoid traveling in public places. Chances of getting infected in those places are more.
  • If you are sick, stay at home.

How To Increase Immunity -

Although the virus causes similar symptoms to every person, the impact on all varies from person to person. It is best to have very good immunity so that in case even if you get this virus, you can recover from it quickly. These are the 5 things which are immunity super buster and will definitely help you in the fight against coronavirus.
1. Ginger
2. Turmeric
3. Eating 1 tsp of Chywanprash
4. Basil Leaves
5. Black Pepper

Coronavirus disease is spreading in the world very fast and if we want to stop it, then we all should help each other out. First, help yourselves and increase your immunity. Work from home if you are sick. Buy only what is required. And the most important DON'T PANIC. Panic is the last thing we need in the world as of now.
