Step 4. Add 1 cup of water on top of the mixture and soak it for 15 minutes. (Don't mix the mixture after adding Water)
Step 5. After 15 minutes mix the mixture, again add a cup of Water. We want Idli/Uttapam batter type consistency.

Step 7. Your batter is ready!
Step 8. Heat the Non-sticky Tawa.
Step 9. Apply butter all over the tawa.

Step 11. Quickly add chopped tomatoes, onions, chilies, coriander! Sprinkle a pinch of red chili and pinch of chaat masala.
Step 12. Cook it for few seconds! Apply little Butter on the side and top of the Uttapam. Cook it on low-medium heat!!
Step 13. Cook it for a couple of minutes till it gets crispy and golden brown in color.
Step 14. Gently flip it and cook both sides till onion gets golden in color.
Step 15. Transfer it to serving plate! I like to eat this with Green Chilli Chutney if you want you can also serve with traditional South Indian style, with Coconut Chutney & Sambhar.
