Mumbai's Vada Pav is one of the recipe which has been loved by all when I shared it previously. I love to share with all of you such lovely delicacies & today again I am presenting you another special Pav recipe known as Masala Pav.
One of the best uses of Pav can be seen in Masala Pav. It is quick & easy to make with lots of simple ingredients put together to make a tasteful recipe.  So lets get started.

Masala Pav

Ingredients :-

  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1 Capsicum, Finely Chopped
  • 3 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1/2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 4 pieces Fresh Pav Bread
  • 1 Lemon Piece Juice
  • Coriander Leaves( Optional)

Method :-

Step 1.  Heat butter in a pan. Add asfoetida  & green chilies. Cook it for 30-40 sec.

Step 2.  Add onions to it. Cook it for a minute but don't let it turn brown.
Step 3.  Add chopped capsicums, chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala. Cook till the tomatoes are soft.

Step 4.  Add salt to taste. Mash the mixture using masher.

Step 5.  Add little water, lemon juice & coriander leaves ( optional ) as I didn't add it. Mix it well & cook for 1-2 minutes more and switch off the gas now.
Your masala is ready for the pav.

Step 6.  In a different pan heat butter till it gets melted.

Step 7. Slice Pav in half & toast it in the pan.

Step 8. Spread the masala, prepared before, inside & outside of Pav.

Step 9. Decorate it with coriander leaves or lemon wedges.

Your Masala Pav is ready. Serve hot & enjoy.
