Summer is a fun time, time to enjoy, time to play, time to shop! However, Sun is at its peak during summer & you might have heard that UV rays which come from are very harmful. Thus protecting your skin & body from the sun is very important in this weather. Today I am sharing some of the important tips for your eyes health!!
1. Buy Sunglasses that protects from 99 to 100 percent of UV Rays. Don’t be deceived by a cloudy day, UV rays can still reach your eyes. Thus always wear good shades.
2. Wear a large hat as it will give additional protection from the sun’s rays.
3. In summer eyes can dry out as our skin so moisturize your eyes with good lubricating drops.
4. Stay hydrated as it keeps your eyes also hydrated. Drink a minimum of 2 liters of water each day.
5. While swimming wears goggles to protect your eyes when in water as chlorine can irritate the eyes and cause redness.
6. Typically between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the sun’s rays are the strongest. If possible avoid being out in the sun during these times.
7. Eat good leafy green vegetables like spinach, kale in summer to have perfect vision.
