Suji ka Halwa

Hello my beautiful friends :) Today we are sharing Suji Halwa Recipe. It is very popular recipe of India. Lets see how to make it.

Ingredients :-

  • 1/2 cup Suji (Rava, Semolina Flour)
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • Pinch of Saffron
  • Pinch of Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • 1 tablespoon sliced Almonds for garnish

Method :-

Step 1.  Heat a pan on medium heat and pour in the Ghee.
Step 2.  Add Suji and roast to golden brown color; stirring constantly this will take about 5 to 8 minutes. Suji will be golden brown in color and will have a light sweet aroma.
Step 3.  Boil the water with Sugar, Saffron and Cardamom powder in a pan over low medium heat. Bring to a boil and Set aside. Your Syrup is ready.
Step 4.  Once Suji is roasted completely add Water Syrup & let it cook in medium heat for about 2-3 minutes more.
Step 5.  Suji will absorb water & give you a soft consistency, your Halwa is ready.
Step 6.  Garnish with almonds, Serve hot.
