Tri-Color Or Tiranga Rice Recipe with step by step instructions -

Whether it is Independence Day or Republic Day or any other day when you are feeling patriotic, this Tiranga Rice is a perfect treat for you and your family. It doesn't just look delicious but it is actually yum. Everyone can have their own version of the recipe and today we are sharing our version.
Ingredients -
2 cup Cooked Rice
Pinch of Hing
Salt to Taste
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
Half tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Half Onion (sliced lengthwise)
Half-Orange Bell Pepper (sliced lengthwise)
Half Red Bell Pepper (sliced lengthwise)
2 Tomatoes (blanched and boiled)
4 Cashews
Method -
Step 1. First, we are making Tomato Puree. In Blender, add blanched tomatoes and four Cashews. Blend until you get a smooth consistency.
Step 2. Take a frying pan. Add Olive Oil.
Step 3. Once the Olive Oil is slightly heated, add Hing Powder and then Jeera.
Step 4. Now slowly add Ginger Garlic Paste, saute for a minute.
Step 5. Now add Onion and saute till it gets golden brown. Add your Bell Pepper too and cook for a minute.
Step 6. Add Tomato Puree and all the Spices (Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder and Jeera Powder). Cook in low flame for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 7. Once all the extra water from the Tomato Puree gets dry out, add Cooked Rice and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
Step 8. Cook for 2 more minutes, keep stirring. After that the Rice is ready.
Your Orange Bell Pepper Rice is ready, Keep it aside.
Ingredients -
2 tbsp Ghee
3 tsp Jeera
1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
Salt to taste
Method -
This White Jeera Rice is not authentic Jeera Rice. We want Rice to remain white, that's why we are making it very simple. Using only Jeera, Ghee, and Salt.
Step 1. In a pan, heat the Ghee.
Step 2. Add Jeera and let it turn golden brown. Keep the flame in medium or low.
Step 3. Add Rice and cook it for 2 minutes.
Step 4. Add salt and keep mixing this. Cook for 3 more minutes.
That's it! Your White Jeera Rice is ready. Keep it aside.
Ingredients -
2 cup Cooked Rice
5 tbsp Green Coriander Chili Chutney
Method -
Step 1. In a bowl, take Rice and Chutney, mix very well together.
That's it! Your Green Chutney Rice is ready, keep it aside.
1. In a Plate, add Orange Rice starting from one corner, then add White Rice and then Green Rice.
2. Decorate the center with the Cloves.
Your delicious and eye-catching Tri-color Rice is ready.
1. Whenever you are eating this Rice, mix all the three Rice together. That is how you get the flavor of Coriander, Jeera, and Bell Peppers.
2. We are making Orange Rice little spicier, as the other two Rice varieties are not spicy.

We are making three different Rice Recipes and in the end, we will combine all the three recipes. First, we gonna make Orange Bell Pepper Rice, then White Jeera Rice, and in the end Green Chutney Rice. Let's start!Orange Bell Pepper Rice Recipe
