Tri-color Rice Recipe

We are making three different Rice Recipes and in the end, we will combine all the three recipes. First, we gonna make Orange Bell Pepper Rice, then White Jeera Rice and in the end Green Chutney Rice. Let's start!

Orange Bell Pepper Rice

Ingredients -
2 cup Cooked Rice
Pinch of Hing
Salt to Taste
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
Half tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Half Onion (sliced lengthwise)
Half Orange Bell Pepper (sliced lengthwise)
Half Red Bell Pepper (sliced lengthwise)
2 Tomatoes (blanched and boiled)
4 Cashews

Method -
Step 1. First, we are making Tomato Puree. In Blender, add blanched tomatoes and four Cashews. Blend until you get a smooth consistency.
Step 2. Take a frying pan. Add Olive Oil.
Step 3. Once the Olive Oil is slightly heated, add Hing Powder and then Jeera.
Step 4. Now slowly add Ginger Garlic Paste, saute for a minute.
Step 5. Now add Onion and saute till it gets golden brown. Add your Bell Pepper too and cook for a minute.

Step 7. Once all the extra water from the Tomato Puree gets dry out, add Cooked Rice and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
Step 8. Cook for 2 more minutes, keep stirring. After that the Rice is ready.
Your Orange Bell Pepper Rice is ready, Keep it aside.

White Jeera Rice

Ingredients -
2 tbsp Ghee
3 tsp Jeera
1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
Salt to taste

Method -
This White Jeera Rice is not authentic Jeera Rice. We want Rice to remain white, that's why we are making it very simple. Using only Jeera, Ghee, and Salt.
Step 1. In a pan, heat the Ghee.
Step 2. Add Jeera and let it turn golden brown. Keep the flame in medium or low.
Step 3. Add Rice and cook it for 2 minutes.
Step 4. Add salt and keep mixing this. Cook for 3 more minutes.
That's it! Your White Jeera Rice is ready. Keep it aside.
