Almond Milk Makhana Kheer | Gluten Free Recipe

In a world where we have a lot of processed food, there are many good organic foods which are full of nutrients. We are talking about Makhana or Lotus Seeds or Fox Nuts. To name some of the benefits they are low in cholesterol, recommended for diabetes, gluten-free, protein-rich and high in carbohydrates. If you guys want to let me know we will share another post on its benefits. Today we are more into making a special dessert out of two special ingredients. One is Almond Milk and other is Makhana. We are making Gluten-Free Makhana Kheer. Let's begin this recipe.

Almond Milk Makhana Kheer | Gluten Free Recipe


Ingredients:-

  • 2 Cups Makhana ( Fox Nuts )
  • 2 Cups Almond Milk
  • Sugar To Taste
  • 1 tsp Saffron
  • Dry Fruits Lightly Grinded ( Almonds, Pistachios)

Method:-

Step 1. Heat Almond Milk until the first boil comes.
Step 2. Once it is boiled well add Sugar, saffron and Fox Nuts ( Makhana ). Mix them well and keep stirring for around 5 minutes.
Step 3.  Add dry fruits and mix well of 2 more minutes.
Your Makhana Kheer is ready. It is a gluten-free recipe so people who are having gluten allergy can have this too.
