Marc Jacobs Decadence Perfume | Review

Hi my beautiful girls 😍
Decadence is a classic, stylish, strong and an elegant perfume by Marc Jacobs. It added a new pillar to its portfolio and this definitely added a new class of luxury in the fragrance world. Decadence is both sexy & sophisticated.
This perfume is my first in the range of Marc Jacobs fragrances. And Marc Jacobs is one of the brands who always come up with their extreme beautiful Perfume Bottles. Must say one of my favorite Brand! As you know how fascinated I am with the beautiful packaging of the perfumes and I must admit that this one is another classic addition to my perfume collection. When it comes to fragrance I will say that I have little Love and Hate relationship with it.

Marc Jacobs Decadence | Review

About Packaging :-

The outer packaging is a complete reflection of sophistication and a velvet touch. It is green in color with Marc Jacobs Decadence printed boldly in golden color. There are only few perfumes who invest in the Packaging of the perfume well & Decadence is certainly one of those. But what makes it revolutionary is its bottle design. The bottle design is the personal talisman of the designer as a symbol of allure and splendor. The shape is iconic in the form of handbag with a thick golden chain attached to it. The black silk tassel adds a perfect class to it. Another thing to look on this is the python print on the cap. The colors are dark making it mysterious & sensuous. Bottle is very heavy as the chain, the cap and the bottle itself has added quite a weight. In short I love! love! love! the packaging & the bottle design.

About The Fragrance :-

If you are looking for a soft sweet Perfume then this one is definitely not for you. It is more of a mature and wild scent. It is like no other scent in the market. Decadence starts sharply with the Top Notes of Italian Plum, Iris & Saffron. As there is no citrus notes in this perfume the Italian Plum notes come out independent and quite well. For the Heart Notes the combination of Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac & Orris brings out the luxury of the fragrance. It will not give you the smell of a Rose Garden but I would say it has a perfect balance of everything. At the Base Note it has Liquid Amber, Vetiver & Papyrus Woods.
Overall! this Fragrance starts bright & stays with you. A perfect companion for Evenings & Night Parties. It is very long lasting and can last you even for a DAY.

My Thoughts :-

If you are bored of sweet fuity fragrances and want something different & sharp then this is a highly recommended Perfume for you. It is a unique combination of different fragrances blended well. Also I liked that it is long lasting which is required many of the times. Packaging is beautiful and I would love to carry it in my handbag but only problem is that it is little heavy.
As I told you I have Love and Hate relationship with this. First! I always get attracted with its fragrance but within half an hour of application it gives me Headache, may be because I have Migraine Problem.
I would say try a sample before buying the bigger one as everyone's taste might be different. If you want a beautiful stylish and woody fragrance in your wardrobe then I would say YES for it. It is an expensive perfume as it is from Marc Jacobs.
I bought it from Sephora here. You can buy it from any store where it is available as prices may vary according to the stores.
