Kite Nail Art | Makar Sankranti Special

Hello my beautiful girls 😍
Happy Makar Sankranti to everyone! For all those who are not aware of this festival, it is a popular Indian festival celebrated every year on the 14th/15th of January. This is one of the Hindu festivals which comes on a fixed date as it is based upon Solar events where all other Indian festivals come on different dates every year because they are based upon Lunar positions.
On this day in many parts of north India Kites are also flown in the sky. This is very popular among children as well as adults too. Today I am sharing Makar Sankranti Special KiteNail Art whose design is inspired by Kites. I hope you will like this post. Let's get started.

Kite Nail Art

All we Need :-

  • Base Coat
  • Top Coat
  • Light Blue Nail Polish
  • Red Nail Polish
  • Black Nail Polish
  • White Nail Polish
  • Big Dotting Tool
  • Small Dotting Tool
  • Plastic Sheet or Small Plastic Zipper Bag

Method:-

Step 1. Apply a Base Coat to protect your natural Nails. Leave it for one minute & let it dry.
Step 2. Start with Light Blue Nail Polish, apply on all fingers & let them dry completely.

For Cloud

(On Index Finger)
Step 3. Pour a few drops of White Nail Polish on Plastic Sheet or Zipper Bag.
Step 4. Use Big Dotting Tool to start creating semi-large dots close to each other giving a Cloud shape. Make sure the Cloud is diagonally created (Refer Picture for details).

For Kite

(On Middle Finger)
Step 5. Again, Pour few drops of Black Nail Polish on Plastic Sheet.
Step 6. Use Small Dotting Tool to create a shape of a diamond; by making small-small dots one by one near each other. This is how we get a kite shape. Let it dry.
Step 7. Now fill the Kite (Diamond shape) with the Red Nail Polish. Let it dry again.
Step 8. Once the Kite is dry, now make two black lines inside of the Kite with the help of a small dotting tool. Your complete Kite shape is ready.
Step 9. On the lower side of Kite; start making Kite Thread with the same Black color & small dotting tool.
Step 10. By making Dots one by one on each other make a flowing thread.
Step 11. Repeat the same step on the other two fingers (Ring & Pink finger) & make a thread as it's flowing.
Step 12. Once all the Nails are dry completely, apply Top Coat to finish the look.
Your beautiful Kite Nail Art is ready.
